How To Use Weight Loss Calculators
Anyone who reads information about losing weight is certain to hear a lot of talk about calories. Cutting calories, burning calories, substituting calories - all of these and more are frequent topics of discussion for dieters. But how many calories are you currently consuming? What effect will cutting back on calories have on your weight? How much can you eat and still squeeze into a smaller clothing size for your high school reunion in a couple of months? All of these questions and more can be answered using weight loss calculators.
Weight loss calculators use information about your specific situation to make estimations about your diet. For example, by inputting your current height, weight, gender, and level of activity, you can determine how many calories you must consume to maintain your weight. In order to lose weight, you simply have to reduce your calories below that level.
Next, you'll wonder how many calories you should cut. Once again, weight loss calculators can help. You can enter your ideal weight, current calorie level, and either a target date (and the calculator will tell you how many extra calories you'll need to burn a day) or a suggestion for how many calories you'd like to cut (and the calculator will give you an estimated date for reaching your target weight).
Many companies - usually those trying to convince you to try the latest diet fad - try to make weight loss seem like a nearly mystical process. However, losing weight is a very straightforward proposition when you look at the science of cutting calories. Weight loss calculators can help you to come up with a solid dieting plan that will help you reach your goals effectively, without endangering your health through a lack of nutrition, or riding a roller coaster of weight loss and gain.

weight loss calculator?
I'm looking for an online calculator where you can put in how much you weigh, how much weight you want to lose, how many calories you eat and burn per day or week, and it tells you how long it will take to lose the weight. I know I saw one somewhere but I've been looking online and can't find it

Eat nothing, how quickly will I loose weight?
My new medication is making it nearly impossible to eat. I used to drink about 48 oz. of water daily, but now I can hardly drink. I am able to stay hydrated, but it takes a lot of effort. I've been sipping broths and V8 when I can. Since the medication is not for weight loss, I wondered how much weight I might be loosing. I'm already thin, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a calorie/weight loss calculator, or could share personal experiences of loosing weight this way and possibly the pace at which it happened. Thanks.
